Looks like TPP is on it last hurdle to passage. An up or down vote in that brothel that used to be the Congress should take it to the president's desk. Multinationals, Wall Street, the whores in D.C., China and their trading partners all win. American workers lose big. Who in the hell is that guy in the Oval Office and what did he do with Barack Obama?
I have said before and will say again, I took one course in economics in college. I sat in the back of the room and read Midsummer Night's Dream and Henry V to keep from nodding off. The damn subject was dry and deadly dull. Still, I managed to take this much away: if you crush the working class you crush the economy because if the men and women who toil away their days are broke, ain't nobody, making no money, no how. Now if I am hip to this fact, why aren't the parasites in Washington, or could it be that they are so drunk on graft that they just don't care?
Goddess help us all and lead us down the path of non-violent revolution. Our government is in need of rehab and we are in need of sober, sane leaders who remember who hired them.
